7/29/26 - Exhausted but still fighting to do right.

BIG NOTE - If I see a dog in your picture, I am definitely going to stop and look. Cats are fine but I will stop every time to see good doggos! Haha

FYI, if you are not a person that likes people that will try to make you smile and laugh as often as possible... you might want to keep going. There are few things in this world as wonderful as hearing the person that you love laughing in joy of the time being spent.

Facts about me : I am a ambivert - rather withdrawn until I feel like I know a person... then my humor really comes out.

Haven't smoked in 18 years - wasn't a big smoking person any way.

Rarely drink especially when so much time has been spent taking care of family, I just haven't felt the need.

History : I live in the Midwest of the United States and attended college for Mass Communications, Broadcasting, and Theatre. I work full time in the financial industry and also the primary caretaker for my aging Father. Recently, my mother has been moved into a memory care center. Due to their needs and the stress of being the caregiver, they are still my primary focus.

Faith : Methodist, but being the primary caregiver for my elderly parents has been a struggle for me for quite a while, and has made me question myself and my faith on what I do and where I am at in my life. Right now, I'm just trying to be the best person I can, showing compassion and care when and where I can.

Hobbies : I do enjoy live events, like music and theatre, but I love games, ‌including video games but mainly board games (Love storytelling adventures where everyone contributes!). I've even been a play tester for several tabletop and card games.

What I would like : Having that certain someone that know we are a team, that we will make it through struggles, find warmth and love while spending time together, regardless on if we are going out or staying home. Peace, love, and laughter sounds amazing to me. I am saddened by what my country has become and would love to find somewhere in this world that I can have a quiet, loving existance.

Thank you for anyone that puts in a bunch of details about themselves - their likes, their hopes, their dreams. That glimpse into the person you are is amazing. Never underestimate how that kind of openness sets you apart on this platform, at least for me. You motivate me to really want to travel and meet good people. Hope you all take care and look forward to learning more about others here.
